Here's the completed piece (you can see where I started if you look in my scraps). Malfoy offers to help Harry meet the 'right sort' of wizard, to which Harry replies that he can see the right sort for himself. Ron nervously eats in the background. Oooh...Don't you just want to smack Malfoy? I originally had Crabbe and Goyle's heads down at the bottom, with Ron eyeing them up nervously, but decided to get rid of them. I hate those two, and don't feel like drawing them. I changed Ron's hand position from my original, and gave him some different clothes. He looks very country bumpkin now, but I like him that way. |

I can't believe how quickly you finished this! I love Scabbers - he looks so cute for an evil demon beast animagus! That motif on the train wall is really neat too.
Ron is my favorite part of this. He looks so uncomfortable. His full cheeks are wonderful. Like he's been stuffing himself so that he wouldn't have to focus on the scene in front of him. Brilliant. I see Scabbers and i'm trying not to hate that dirty rat right now...
Everything is very natural. The poses are killer... and is that a little snake I see on Draco's cuff? Niiiice.
I'm going to end up favoriting all of these, I just know it. I'm not biased! Not at all... you're just so good at this. I can't wait to see what you do for the next chapter. Will it have the Sorting Hat?

This was such a pivotal scene - you truly caught the character-defining moments of the first confrontation between Harry, Draco, Ron and others. Your usual attention to the details add to the enchantment of this piece... those Chocolate Frog boxes are perfect and the feel of Ron's 'slightly small' clothes is great. I love Ron's fingers feeding his face, his stuffed cheeks and the puffs in the back of the train seat. You even captured Scabbers quite well - just think, Wormtail was already 'spying' on Harry for the Dark Side... even from the 'git go'. I told you... this was a pivotal scene for all the characters - your beautifully detailed artwork brings it to life and tickles my memories and my imagination. *shakes head in amazement* Thanks for another great job! Oh, and another "favourite." *wanders off muttering "I think I can tell a good fan artist for myself, thanks." PhoenixDragon says that NicoPony is a fantastic artist who pencils magic into life!
