I know this isn't the sort of thing to comment with but as soon as I saw Harry in that pose I thought of him saying "What you talkin' 'bout, Willis!?" Poor Ron, he looks miserable.

Haha you totally captured Draco's arrogance. I TOTALLY want to smack him. Hahaha.

I can't believe how quickly you finished this! I love Scabbers - he looks so cute for an evil demon beast animagus! That motif on the train wall is really neat too.

I think something i've forgotten to mention everytime I see these is that you are so good at different faces and personalities. Sometimes it's so hard to capture multiple characters correctly. Harry's expression is so brave and stubborn. I love it. It's exactly what I imagined his face to look like during this part. I could smack Draco for him if I were able to reach in there!

Ron is my favorite part of this. He looks so uncomfortable. His full cheeks are wonderful. Like he's been stuffing himself so that he wouldn't have to focus on the scene in front of him. Brilliant. I see Scabbers and i'm trying not to hate that dirty rat right now...

Everything is very natural. The poses are killer... and is that a little snake I see on Draco's cuff? Niiiice.

I'm going to end up favoriting all of these, I just know it. I'm not biased! Not at all... you're just so good at this. I can't wait to see what you do for the next chapter. Will it have the Sorting Hat?

Oh, NicoPony - your artwork captures my imagination and takes my breath away. I usually mention your magical pencil, but in this I must say your 'prismacolor white' is awesome! I especially love the lenses of Harry's glasses (wow), the reflection off the window of the cabin door, the luggage racks above Ron's head and Draco's hair... you really highlighted the platinum shine beautifully. Harry's expression is great, but the unruly cowlicks in his hair are even better! Your choice of matboard was great because I think the sepia tone makes it feel like a photograph yet gives it a lightness and an aura of magic that reminds us we are, indeed, aboard The Hogwarts Express. (^_^)

This was such a pivotal scene - you truly caught the character-defining moments of the first confrontation between Harry, Draco, Ron and others. Your usual attention to the details add to the enchantment of this piece... those Chocolate Frog boxes are perfect and the feel of Ron's 'slightly small' clothes is great. I love Ron's fingers feeding his face, his stuffed cheeks and the puffs in the back of the train seat. You even captured Scabbers quite well - just think, Wormtail was already 'spying' on Harry for the Dark Side... even from the 'git go'. I told you... this was a pivotal scene for all the characters - your beautifully detailed artwork brings it to life and tickles my memories and my imagination. *shakes head in amazement* Thanks for another great job! Oh, and another "favourite." *wanders off muttering "I think I can tell a good fan artist for myself, thanks." PhoenixDragon says that NicoPony is a fantastic artist who pencils magic into life!

the detail is amazing! I love the way you crossed off percy's name and wrote ron! gives you such a great feel for the weasley family "fortune". you did a pretty good job with the rat! he looks so content...hard to belive he is that rotten little Pettigrew!
